The Mission of a True Teacher
"Teachers open the door, but you must enter by yourself”- Chinese proverb.
Today’s world is an age of technology and information. Almost everything is at the tip of the hand. Everyone is at the fast lane, furiously.
The financial world is marked by a series of on-line transactions globally. This is apparent on various borderless portfolio transactions that created wealth or brought havoc. For most Asian financial markets, 1997 was hit by a whooping crisis that crippled most business in the region. They remembered one term: FINANCIAL DERIVATIVES.
It became a byword. Most financial gurus resurrected the terms such as Risk Management, Futures, Plain Vanilla Swap and the like. However, only few were able to impart this subject in a clear cut manner.
Mr. Tommy Seah is one of a gem in imparting the topic on Foreign Exchange with clarity and succeeded in penetrating the mind of students. He simplified a complex topic for any layman to understand. That is a mark of a true teacher. Most finance/business books present issues in a difficult and almost confusing manner.
This pocketbook will handily familiarize and provide backbone to CSI aspirants in digesting such interesting topic.Mr. Seah provided great service and contribution to the financial world. The CSI World can readily use this pocketbook as a benchmark for CSI candidates in absorbing issues on Foreign Exchange.
Once again, I congratulate Mr. Seah for his great work!
Enjoy and grasp these unique ideas from a great teacher.
