The introduction of corporate membership is to provide services in internal auditing, compliance, risk management and investigation to corporations. This is also in line with our Founder’s motto i.e. "Getting It Right. Distinguishing Fakers from Makers".

Any Corporate Company that is incorporated under the Companies Act or any Act of Parliament or Special Act may become a corporate member of CSI World Headquarters by application and observe the Code of Conduct and Standard in practice of the CSI World Headquarters.  The corporate member may nominate nominees from:

  • Staff of the Internal Audit , Compliance, Risk Management and Investigation
  • Members of Senior Management and the Audit Committee

Terms of Nomination

  • Nominees must be existing employees of the Staff of the Internal Audit, Compliance, Risk Management and Investigation Department of the Corporate Member, and/or members of the Senior Management and members of the Audit Committee of the same organization.
  • Nominees may be transferable with changes and/or addition in employees in the Staff of the Internal Audit , Compliance, Risk Management and Investigation Department and/or member of the Audit Committee.
  • Nominees may enjoy the benefits of the CSI World Headquarters simply by quoting the Corporate Membership Number upon request

  • Nominees do not have voting rights at the Annual General Meeting of the CSI World Headquarters
  • Nominees are not allowed to sit on the main Board of Governors of CSI World Headquarters. They may however, serve on any of the sub-committees.
Corporate Member with Subsidiary Companies

The Corporate membership is determined by the nature of function of the Internal Audit, Compliance, Risk Management and Investigation Department. Illustration:

If the department provides internal audit services to the Holding Company and its Subsidiary Companies with common or different members of the Audit Committee, then all members in this group shall be entitled to claim the benefits.

However, if the Internal Audit Department provides internal audit service to the Holding Company only, then the benefits can only be enjoyed by the members of the Holding Company. The members of the Subsidiary Companies are not entitled to the benefits. Under such circumstances, each subsidiary company may have to apply for its own corporate membership.
